This drag or street setup maintains a standard camber curve, which is more suited for this type of application. These coilover shock kits allow for more lift, adjustable ride height, optional externally adjustable shocks, and a variety of available spring rates. The primary benefit of going to coilover kits is the sensitivity of shock-to-wheel movement. This design moves the shock and spring closer to the lower ball joint, which is closer to the centerline of the tire. The closer the shock is to the centerline of the tire, the faster the shock and spring respond to input. Therefore, a small amount of shock adjustment will have a greater dampening effect.
